Maxene Callahan

Services for Maxene Callahan, 78, Canton, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 21, at Eubank Funeral Home Chapel, Canton, with Max Callahan officiating.

Burial was in Haven of Memories Memorial Park, Canton.

Mrs. Callahan died April 19, 2008, in Tyler.

She was born July 28, 1929 in Canton to Benjamin and Bertha Patrick Skinner. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Canton. She grew up in the Wallace Community and was a lifelong resident of the Canton area.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Peace Callahan, in 2007; son, Ben Callahan, in 1974; and 11 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Grady Easley, Canton; grandchildren, Tammie Roberts, Grady Easley Jr. and Brian Easley; and seven great-grandchildren.
