Services for Morton Keeton, 91, Canton, were held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 29, at Eubank Funeral Home Chapel, Canton, with Dr. Gary Hearon officiating.
Burial was in Haven of Memories Memorial Park, Canton.
Mrs. Keeton died August 27, 2008, in Canton.
She was born August 15, 1917 in Sour Lake to Thomas and Lila Hargrave Carson. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Canton, a member of AARP and Christian’s Women’s Club. She worked with the department of human resources and supervising East Texas Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Carl Morton and Willie Earl Keeton; and son-in-law, Ray Jeter.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Del and Beverly Morton, East Hideaway, and Tommy and Jonna Morton, Rockwall; daughters and sons-in-law, Carla and John Owen, West Hideaway, Gwyn Jeter, East Hideaway, Madeline and Bill Brannon, Waco, and Jo and Edward Easley, Corsicana; eight grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
